Common Questions
Can I see you on sale day without an appointment?
Yes. The office is open on main sale days, on the first floor of the Rural Business Centre, opposite the café. To meet on another day, or to make sure Luke is free, call 07857 877925 to book an appointment.
Do you value farmland for inheritance tax?
Yes. Luke is an RICS Registered Valuer and prepares RICS Red Book valuations of farms and land for inheritance tax. We also value for capital gains tax, sale or purchase, lending and compulsory purchase.
Can you help with SFI applications?
Yes. We help farmers with the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) and Countryside Stewardship. Schemes open and close and their rules change, so call us to check what's open now.
Do you act for tenants as well as landlords?
Yes. We advise both landlords and tenants, including on farm business tenancies, Agricultural Holdings Act tenancies and rent reviews.
Which areas do you cover from Clitheroe?
